Baffin Island is in the far northeast corner of Canada, relatively close to Greenland. Iqaluit, where Terry Miller studied the Inuktitut dialect, is in the southern portion of the Island. Pond Inlet, from which Sue Hamilton brought back her Canadian Inuit dogs, is on the northern tip of the island.
